St. Antony's Home is situated at the parish campus of Kattur, Trichy. Kattur ia a thickly populated area, being an industrial place. In the year 1964, St. Antony's Home was opened at the request of Rt. Rev. Dr. James Mandonca, the then Bishop of Trichy to look after the elderly and the abandoned of the locality. He received this inspiration from our Sisters at Jeppoo in Mangalore. The poor of this area had no means to look after their aged parents. So looking after the aged citizens was the most urgent need of that time. The pioneers were Sr. Candida, Sr. Rosina and Sr. Precilla. On 13th June, 'Hosanna Home' for the aged was opened and later it was named as St. Antony's Home for the aged.

At the continual request of the people of the locality, in 1967 a nursery school was opened for the children and it began to function with 50 children. Now it has grown up into a high school with the state recognition. The school has parallel section of Tamil medium too. The school today accommodates 1600 students. The Primary and the High school were functioning in the same building which the Government did not approve of. Hence in 2008 a new school building was put up for the High school, in the vacant land behind the Home for the aged.

The Name of Animators, who led the community all through these years: Mother. Candida, Mother. Elizabeth Locathalli, Sr. Theresa Jacob, Sr. Cynthia Vettickal, Sr. Zina Varkey, Sr. Lucy Thomas, Sr. Massimilla Rodrigues, Sr. Bertilla Alexander, Sr. Romana Varkey and at present Sr. Selvi Singarayan.
Added to the apostolic work of caring for the aged, the Sisters too took care of the elderly priests of the Diocese for some years. And at present the Sisters continue to render their service in the Home for the aged (the number of elders whom we serve is 65 women and 42 men), Nursery & Primary School, High School and Pastoral work. In 2014 this Home will be celebrating its golden jubilee.
